Our History Now located in Texas brush country near beautiful San Antonio,Texas, and After spending many years showing Arabian horses, Mithril Staffs was begun in Nineteen-hundred, eighty-two, by Brenda Lilly after showing Bull Terriers and Arabian Horses since Nineteen-hundred, seventy-five. The first litter of American Staffordshire Terriers was whelped Nineteen-hundred, eighty-four, followed the following year by the first Champion, Ch. Mithril Red Outlaw, CD. The second litter was born in Eighty-six and the first Home-bred Champion , Ch. Mithril African Queen; was finished in Eighty-seven. All puppies are whelped and reared in the home. In the best interest of the puppies welfare and my sanity, only one or two litters per year are produced. Member:
To breed dogs which fit the Standard in every way, with special emphasis on Temperment, Proper size, and Correct Type (a Bull and Terrier dog). Over the years I have produced many champions, but I am most proud of the family pets and working dogs from my breeding. While it is obvious that I love red dogs, I also have brindles, blacks and the occasional dilute blue and blue fawn.
